Promotion of Unaltered Forms of Contracts  – CCA Subcontract Guide

Prompt Payment Legislation – The National Trade Contractors Coalition of Canada (NTCCC) visits Parliament Hill each year urging politicians to create ‘Prompt Payment Legislation’ to alleviate the pressure from the current economic situation affecting their businesses across Canada as outlined in the attached Prism Economics Report on Payment Delays

The NTCCC has drafted (see above link to the NTCCC Position Paper) wording which it intends to be included in the Federal Government Contract regarding the issue of Prompt Payment. Changes to the contract would provide trade contractors with the tools to ensure that their businesses can remain competitive and productive, sildenafil and would also encourage a culture of prompt payment that is presently absent and is much needed.

The National Trade Contractors Coalition of Canada (NTCCC) members are also working closely with many provincial trade contractor groups to promote the implementation of provincial Prompt Payment Legislation.

Change Orders – NTCCC latest project is the acceptance ( or otherwise) of change orders which underlines the ongoing dependence of contractors on positive cash flow.
